Looking up King Edward Avenue, BN14 8DL about 6.00 AM
Noel Coward famously wrote that 'mad dogs and Englishmen go out in the midday sun', but today it snowed for our first time in Worthing, and so 'mad Mark' went out in the dark at 6 AM to take pictures of all this white stuff gently falling around and about. We celebrated with a hot cup of coffee and Rose's scrumptious chocolate chip cookies.
View from front door, neighbour's car
Our car - at last a use for the ice-scraper!
By 6.45, there were signs the snow was slipping off the cars. I guess most folk in Worthing will wake and groan about their cars, the walk to work, etc, but for us this was an event! We have seen snow before, but never seen it falling.

Yo MDT - it snowed here, but by lunchtime it was all gone. The happiness of the first fall may last, but when it traps you indoors, it's not worth it!
But maybe the coffee and cookies does!
Take care.

Mark, loved the photos's. What camera do you use?
Be encouraged.
GBYAY
don't ya just love the snow??? Ahhhhhhhh!! Nothing like it!
The camera I currently use is a Fuji Finepix S5600. Super value and quality of pix makes it a great SLR digital.
Fantastic photo of the Harry Potter Street, hehe.
