A very happy and blessed Christmas from us both, to our friends around the world ... including the one or two who still read this blog!

Snowy Garden in King Edward Avenue
Here is another iPhone video clip of the snow in our back garden. It snowed yesterday, but it has been around zero temperature or below most of the time, so little of it has gone away.
Foxprints in the Snow
This video recorded on my new 3Gs iPhone, which I got yesterday as my contract was up for renewal. It was very easy to get video onto Facebook. I have not looked at directly uploading here to the blog yet, but perhaps the direct email address might just work.

Snow on the beach
Rose took this picture after work today. It is just weird for southern hemisphere people to think of a beach and snow in the same place!

Wii Wii Wii all the way home
Two Wii machines on projected big screens proved to be a hit attraction at our staff Christmas lunch and social today. In the picture, Rose, Sam, Steve and Chris are all racing against each other in Mario Kart. Far left, another group is playing ten pin bowling.

Employed by God to encourage each other
Charles Spurgeon wrote:
God employs his people to encourage one another.
We should be glad that God usually works for man by man. It forms a bond of brotherhood, and being mutually dependent on one another, we are fused more completely into one family.
Brethren, take the text as God's message to you. Aim to comfort the sorrowful, and to animate the desponding.
Speak a word in season to him that is weary, and encourage those who are fearful to go on their way with gladness.
God encourages you by his promises; Christ encourages you as he points to the heaven he has won for you, and the Spirit encourages you as he works in you to will and to do of His own will and pleasure.

Windows 7 video test
Again, the content is not that important, but there is some film here from 1980 or 1982, with some video effects added. This is just a test to compare how easy it is to edit and upload video in Windows 7, compared to software built into the Flip video camera.
