Walk with us in the New Forest

Bolderwood, New Forest, Hampshire at EveryTrail

Map created by EveryTrail:GPS Geotagging

We spent a couple of nights away in the New Forest, to just get away, regroup, and have some quality time together. We found Bolderwood a bit late on our last day, and will no doubt go back there, but it was a great place to have a walk, see the deer, and take in some of the tall and old trees there.

Getting up on the Downs

Attribution: photo from Woman on the Verge blog

I visited Grace Community Church, within easy walking of the house yesterday. A great service - I was challenged to think by the message by Peter Cockrell that explored what it really means to have died to self in order to be alive in Christ. Rose is away this weekend, in Scotland, and friends (Tony & Marion Ford) invited me back for a light lunch followed by a walk on the Downs. We drove about 20 minutes to a very pretty spot to do just over 3 miles of walking. It was a lovely day yesterday - definitely a nip in the air, and I enjoyed the fresh air, exercise, and expansive views.

In fact, you may have seen prayerwalkers in action. If you did, you probably thought they were just out walking and talking to each other ... FULL ARTICLE
