What interests me in this new application called AudioBoo is how simple it is to use in an iPhone, and how easy it makes audio blogging. I have yet to get creative with it, but sure I will get some great short pieces whilst on my travels - so look out for new ones in the audio blogging section I have placed just below the header logo for this blog. The first one about CONTRAILS is not that great - more proof of concept.

New online community

Andrew Pitchford (COO of UCB Australia) and I are collaborating on creating a new online community for Christians interested in using new media for ministry. We began calling it Christians in New Media, but have changed to a short-hand: newmediax - where the X stands for Christian of course.

If you are interested, or know someone who might be, please pass this on. Online communities rise or fall on the interest and interaction they can muster, and we hope that we can develop this into something significant for God's Kingdom.

Mundu Radio

Last week I replaced my broken Palm T3 with a new TX and quickly discovered how useful it is with access at work & home, to wifi broadband. One interesting applicatlon is Mundu Radio, which works on many platforms of mobile devices to stream audio to your PDA or phone. It took less than 5 mins to create an experimental feed to Paradise Lost. The streaming works with GPRS & 3G connections too.
