Not always as things seem to be
This picture came in email this week - I can't remember who sent it now, and I have no way of attributing the arrtist. But have a look at this picture and try to guess what these kid's mum does for a living. Bit of a give-away huh? The people offering money, the long haired woman, the pole. Wonder what she does for a job - and if this is part-time or perhaps her day job?
Actually, the lady works in a large hardware store, and one of her children drew this picture for school, of mum selling garden shovels.
Makes me think about just how many times we do judge a book by its cover, people by what our incomplete information is telling us.

Polish dancing club

That's our Jools, front row, left
Jools said she was petrified before her group went on stage in a demonstration event where several Polish dancing clubs, including some from other countries (not sure if Poland was there). They did a dance to music from the hit musical Chic
ago (All That Jazz). Her team/group/troupe have been training individually for ages, and only came together for three rehearsals together. Sorry, did I say Polish dancing? I meant Pole Dancing. The exercise kind. Fancy you thinking it was the other kind. The picture below is Jools flexing some muscle - been a while since I saw Rose doing anything like this!
