New way to eat your vegetables
Zimbabwe scientists at Bulawayo's National University for Science and Technology have successfully crossed a sheep with a cauliflower, making it easier than ever to get your carnivorous children to eat their veggies.
The caulisheep needs no planting, feeds itself (you provide water), manures itself, and is capable of being a renewable resource. *
President Robert Mugabe has placed this achievment in the same category as the recent announcement that uranium finds in Zimbabwe and some creative land-grabbing in the nearby Democratic Republic of the Congo, will soon be providing unlimited energy for rural Zimbabwe.
Proving beyond all doubt that the ZanuPF leadership is indeed one sandwich short of a picnic. What a deliciously evil mixture, the old man Robert (the world's largest consumer of his own PR), North Korean ambitions, uranium, an unstable and exceedingly mineral rich DRC ... hey maybe the rumour is true that Bin Laden himself has some connections with a grabbed ranch in Matabeleland. Where is Wilbur Smith when you have a great idea for a novel?
* This story obviously not true
** Regretfully, old Bob has shot his mouth off about this ludicrous notion that a spade can dig up some uranium and in a few months Zimbabwe has collaberated with the Chinese and North Koreans to generate nuclear energy. Some links: 1 2 3
