How not to watch a DVD

Our good friends (they would have to be for me to post a picture like this) Clive, Ygerne and Amy Bishop ... visited for a few days before Christmas. Clive's mum, Kay, was also with them. She lives near the world's largest carpark, the M25 that encircles London.

They shopped till they dropped because they are from Harare where shopping takes about 2 minutes. They came in search of luxury items like car tyres, toilet paper, soap, and cheese.

We were watching SPY GAMES, full of action and completely mind-consuming, as this photo clearly indicates. What we cannot show you is the concert of snores that gave surround-sound a good go for its money. You might think that the one in the middle made all the noise ... let me assure you it was a fair competition ... but in the end he did edge out the competition. And I do not say that just because Ygerne is a bona fide black belt in karate either!

We loved having them come visit, but next time we hope to arrange a kinder, gentler schedule for them. The pic was taken about 9.25PM. Not even Brad Pitt could keep Amy awake. Posted by Picasa
