Crimson Louerie, Blantyre

This was the only decent shot I could get of the crimson louerie, one of about a dozen, that lie around Anton and Lucy Meyer's house in Blantyre, Malawi. They look a lot like the Kynsa Louerie, which I have only ever seen in captivity, so it was fabulous to see these magificently coloured birds.
