Ratfink lives

Mid morning I was moved from the Emergency Investigation Unit to the Durrington Ward here at the Worthing-Southlands Hospital. But not before I got a painless stomach injection if some premium quality rat poison. Mind you it stung like crazy after half a minute!

Medical care and nursing here is just fabulous. How people can complain about the kind of attention available when really needed, is hard to fathom. The hospital is clean and quiet and efficient. Staff are friendly and genuinely caring. So I feel blessed to be here.

I missed my trip starting today, to attend IBC in Amsterdam, which I am very bleak about. But resigned. Hope the rest of the gang have a great time.

Time for more meds, and my nebuliser.
