Excuse the bad pun ... but hearing someone wax lyrical on a podcast, about the new beta version of Internet Explorer 7, I thought 'what the heck' and downloaded the late-comer to tabbed browsing and RSS - to run it up against the best browser in the world ... applause ... Firefox.
Try to install IE7BETA and it tells you it must check the validity of your Windows software. No problemo, this is a new machine that came with bundled Bill Gates enriching software. But alas, the Redmond code cannot quite decide about my software, even though I tried to point my webcam at the little sticker underneath. So IE7BETA gets a boot out the window. Long live Firefox. Try it yourself, if you haven't already wised up.
